Wendy Fleming

I have set up my own business to provide professional financial advice in an honest and reliable manner.

Before becoming an Independent Financial Planner I worked in a bank for 13 years which provided me with a great foundation for setting up Fleming McDonald.During my time at the bank I felt that they often put profit before people. Of course it’s important for a business to make a profit but I think it is also important to be respectful of client’s priorities first.

In 2001 I decided to leave my well paid secure job and begin my apprenticeship as an Independent Financial Adviser. Since then I have worked hard to obtain all the qualifications I could and gain as much experience and knowledge to help me realise my dream of setting up Fleming McDonald in August 2007.

Of course my family are my priority but I am passionate about this business and dispelling the myth that dealing with financial “stuff” is complicated.

I believe the key to providing proper financial advice is by focusing on the PERSON and not just their money.

My job isn’t to use fancy words or try and make things sound more complicated than they are. My job is to work with you to put a plan in place that can protect your financial dependents (if you have any) meet your personal and financial goals and then continue to build a relationship with you, reviewing and building the plan so that together we achieve as many of your goals as possible, allowing you to do the things you want to do in life.
